Nestville Open Fest 2025 introduces a brand-new attraction that will captivate not only armed forces enthusiasts but anyone seeking something extraordinary. Step into the ARMY ZONE – a space where you’ll come face-to-face with real military power.
The ARMY ZONE will offer visitors a rare glimpse behind the scenes of a world usually hidden from the public eye. Thanks to a partnership with the Michal Strenk Military Exhibition, you’ll find yourself surrounded by real-life military equipment known from combat missions and action films — this time live and up close.
Throughout the entire festival, you’ll be able to admire and take photos with authentic military weapons. You’ll even get to hold legendary originals like:
- SA 58 Assault Rifle
- UK59 Machine Gun
- PPSh-41 (Shpagin Submachine Gun)
- MP40
- Vz. 24 Rifle 24
These aren’t replicas — these are real historical weapons that shaped military history. Every visitor can take home an unforgettable photo with a weapon you’d normally only see behind glass in a museum.
The true highlight of the program will be the presence of legendary military helicopters. On Friday, June 20, the MIL MI-17 helicopter will land at 3:00 PM and depart at 8:00 PM. On Saturday, June 21, the iconic BLACK HAWK UH-60 will arrive — known from military operations across the globe. It will land at 10:00 AM and remain on-site until the evening, giving visitors a chance not only to see it up close, but to step inside the cockpit and experience the thrill of a real mission.
This year, you’ll see Nestville Open Fest from a whole new perspective — with the scent of jet fuel in the air, the roar of rotor blades, and echoes of history in your hands.
