One summer festival, one Friday night, and a million reasons why our crew is coming back again this year!
Some summer festivals have big names. Others have expensive production. But Nestville Open Fest has something that, in my opinion, can’t really be planned — the atmosphere. That true summer vibe, relaxed and carefree, when after just a few minutes you stop checking the time and simply enjoy the summer evening to the fullest. And that’s exactly why we’re looking forward to the Friday program the most this year.
During Nestville Open Fest, Nestville Park comes alive in a completely different way than on an ordinary day. Lights, music, people who came to have fun, the smell of food, a drink in hand, and the feeling that, for a little while, everything else has stopped existing.
Chill cez deň, energia večer
Last year, I was surprised by the energy of the whole festival. It never felt overcrowded or chaotic. More like a place where everyone is on the same wavelength. Chill during the day, concerts in the evening, and an incredible atmosphere everywhere you go. And when it gets dark and the main stage lights up? That’s when the whole festival takes on a completely different vibe!

The Friday lineup we’re looking forward to the most
When I saw that SEPAR was performing on Friday, the decision was made — we’re going!
I’ve heard that his concert two years ago was unforgettable. The entire crowd turned into one massive wave of energy. Everyone was shouting the lyrics. The bass was hitting from every direction. It felt like the beat was vibrating through the entire festival grounds. Honestly, I think festival concerts have the biggest magic of all.
Outdoors under the night sky, surrounded by people enjoying it just as much as we are. I genuinely believe this is going to be one of the highlights of the entire summer.
What I really like about Nestville Open Fest is that the lineup isn’t focused on just one music style. Every artist brings a different kind of energy, so the evening flows naturally from one vibe to another. RAPHAEL has exactly the kind of music that works perfectly at summer festivals — emotions, modern tracks, and an atmosphere where you can simply switch off your mind and enjoy the moment.

DUCCI, on the other hand, is, in my opinion, the perfect way to open the whole Friday evening. I listened to a few of his songs on YouTube and was really pleasantly surprised. Before checking the lineup, I hadn’t heard of him yet, but I’m one hundred percent sure it’s going to be all about youthful energy, a fresh vibe, and music that will kick off our festival mood perfectly.
And I’m really curious about PIL C as well. I think his concerts have a completely different atmosphere. He knows how to put on an insane show, but at the same time he has songs where you just enjoy the vibe and sing the choruses together with the crowd. Exactly the kind of artist that simply belongs at a festival.
Festival nights that don’t end after the last concert
Last year, we kept saying that after the concerts we’d head home early. Guess how that turned out? Yeah… it didn’t happen.
DJ Marko Mazag created an incredible atmosphere, and I already know that this year I’m really looking forward to DJ MIKE SAXI & BONGOMANELIZZ as well. A combination of a DJ set, saxophone, and a festival night sounds exactly like the kind of plan where you suddenly check the time and realize it’s way later than you expected. But hey, trains run early in the morning too, right?
The summer festival worth coming back to
So, do you already know why I keep coming back to Nestville Open Fest? Because it simply feels good to be there. Not like just another visitor in a massive crowd, but like part of an evening that everyone came to enjoy to the fullest. The festival has a beautiful venue, an amazing atmosphere, and exactly that kind of summer energy that makes you say a year later: “I want to experience this again.”
Last year, I went home tired, hoarse, and with thousands of videos on my phone. And I already know that this year is going to be even better!
